Designed for Alzheimer's patients, Alzplate is a set of tableware made of food-grade silicone designated to assist users' daily eating. Using various colours, special shapes, alarm and patterns, Alzplate devotes itself to relieve eating disorders for Alzheimer's patients.
Facing the deterioration of neural and visual abilities, an Alzheimer's patient will lead to many problems. The difficulty of concentrating makes them lack of interest in eating; the deterioration of memory makes them forgetting if they had already eaten the meal; the cognitive capacity decline makes them hard to distinquish the functions of similar tablewares; and their slow movement affects them negatively while the action of holding and scooping takes place.
